If you need the time for a longer session, we may be able to offer you what months can often take to accomplish. The intensives are not covered by insurance, FYi. We will tailor the day for your needs and an initial 2.5 hour assessment is needed before exploring our journey together. We will use an emotional, experiential approach incorporating your spirituality, culture, and integrative elements important to you.
I am a Yoga Teacher, and somatic therapist. Your body is so important when healing. You will receive moment to moment tracking of your anxiety pathways and your thoughts that get you tangled or deflated. I'm on your side and we will partner to get to the bottom of why your system operates the way it does. It can be intense, and through it, by the end, you heal.
Do you want to stop your ruminating mind, self-doubt, and self-sabotage that happens automatically, taking you by surprise at the most inconvenient times? Of course you do, and you don't intentionally do this to yourself. But how can you fix this?
First, breathe, ground, and notice your surroundings and yourself in your body. Second, use whatever faith or spirituality you have for yourself. If you are not in a better place, distract! Yes, take a run, do some yoga, clean the house...it can work, right?! This is a more doable and likable defense that tends to help you at times, and can also hurt you, if you don't get to the bottom of your problems. So lets get through the cluttered mind and overwhelmed nature of your life and see what and who you are all about.
Schedule an appointment with and we will get to the bottom of your problems in life. Either in-person, or virtually. Our therapy sessions together will provide you with education and relational change to help you become aware of the visceral areas of anxiety in your body, helping you identify triggers from trauma responses, and the defenses that try to help you, but ultimately hurt you, while we develop awareness and healing. Your life can get better and you don't have to be so anxious, depressed, uncertain, hopeless, or just plain miserable. Start your change and contact me. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is evidence-based coupled with the Somatic and Attachment model, to help you heal and improve relationships, and your own well-being. I specialized in treatment modalities including block intensives for: ERP, ISTDP, SOMATIC, YOGA-for Integrated healing.
